I accept patients for treatment of chronic and acute conditions including, but not limited to, Muscular - Skeletal disorders and Pain management, Sleep disturbances, Women's health, and Digestive disorders.

It is important to know that acupuncture and Chinese herbs are administered according to your particular condition. The initial assessment and evaluation, following the principles of Chinese medicine, take into consideration not only your symptoms but your constitution, medical history, outlook and lifestyle as well.

Most people choose acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine to reduce the need for medication, to maintain their health, to promote longevity and to awaken the body's natural healing potential.

What to Expect

If you have never received acupuncture treatments before you will probably have many questions about what to expect.

I've included short descriptions of acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine on the web site with links to further reading at the bottom of the page.

Acupuncture is significantly different from Western medicine in that acupuncture is a very personal method of treatment that takes into consideration the whole person. The first visit usually takes an hour and a half which is used to assess and evaluate your condition according to the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Besides asking "where does it hurt?" you will be asked seemlingly unrelated questions about your emotions, your diet, sleeping patterns, etc. We will also discuss any questions you may have about the techniques used.

After the initial evaluation treatment sessions usually run an hour and 15 minutes.

Office Policy

I ask that you please be on time for your appointment. If you do need to cancel please call at least 24 hours before the time we have reserved for your appointment.

There will be a charge for missed appointments without 24 hours notice.

Payment may be made by credit card. I accept Visa, Master Charge and American Express.
